  • No. of Computers: 40

  • PC Configuration (Processor: i5 3.00 GHz, RAM: 4GB, Hard disk: 1 TB)

Browsing lab is updated with latest Hardware to ensure that it can handle the demand of students. EDU provides the latest state-of-the-art computer and browsing facilities. These labs are prepared so that these rooms can be used for any programming contest as well. Every individual can get access to his computer. Students can work without sharing PCs. It means that students need not to wait in a queue when they want to do their assignments. EDU ensures reliable computing as each PC is attached with an UPS. There is a heavy-duty printer stationed in lab to provide printing facility to the students. Each student is given separate account in EDU-CSE-LAB domain. Students have to logon to their respected accounts to avail the existing network resources. A student can browse PC free of charge for unlimited period.

Microprocessor and Interfacing Lab

This lab has various types of microprocessor, micro controller trainer kits along with interfacing modules to demonstrate the detailed applications of microprocessors. The purpose of this laboratory is to train the students to be familiar with the software and hardware of microprocessors so that they can gain enough experiences to meet the demand of the microprocessor era. The facilities in the laboratory enable students to build a firm background in microprocessor hardware as well as software. Students learn about assembly language programming, CPU, memory and I/O design, interfacing of programmable chips and peripherals such as stepper motors, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters etc. They acquire the practical skills sufficient to design and realize basic microprocessor based systems. This laboratory is used to provide intensive practical exposure to the students in the field of microprocessor architecture and industrial control through them. Different exercises in this lab includes Serial Data Communication between PC and 8085 microprocessor trainer kit, writing on EPROM and microcontroller Chip using UIP. The lab also provides the facility to interface the microprocessor with different circuits such as A/D converters, stepper motors, DC motors, multidigit displays, etc. Microprocessor kit (8085), Microprocessor kit (8086), Microcontroller kit (8051), Interface boards, Keyboard and display control and PC based interface are available in this lab.
